VISTA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in Vista have arrested an 18-year-old man who's accused of more than 300 graffiti vandalism incidents across the city.
San Diego County sheriff's Deputy Adrian Moses says it cost the city about $90,000 to clean up the graffiti allegedly scrawled by Bladimir Alexis Lopez.
U-T San Diego reports Lopez was taken into custody Thursday morning at his home in Vista. Moses says several items of evidence were seized at the residence.
Investigators were aided by Graffiti Tracker, a database designed to help identify graffiti vandals.
Vista is about 40 miles north of downtown San Diego.
