SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The weather story continues to be the heat coming this weekend. Friday, the county experienced some clearing from the marine layer in the afternoon, with highs in the low to mid 70s inland and upper 60s were felt at the coast.
Weekend temperatures inland will be in the mid 80s and the coast will experience mid 70s. That's 10°F above average for both microclimates.
The mountain areas may get a wind advisory for Saturday, with possible gusts of 45 mph out of the NNE.

Looking ahead for rain doesn't look promising. High pressure will hang out for most of next week. Monday morning (March 10) will likely start with a return of the marine layer after a warm, dry weekend.
