Moby: Lots of energy and loves to play

Posted: Updated:

PROGRAMMING NOTE: Be sure to watch The 2014 Telethon for the Animals Saturday, March 22nd from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. on CBS 8. Join hosts Barbara-Lee Edwards, Dan Cohen and Nichelle Medina as we pay tribute to the animals and programs of the San Diego Humane Society.

Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd
Sex: Male
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 59.6 pounds
Adoption Fee: $17 (March 15-17 only)
ID Number: 133366

Why I'd make a great companion: I would be thrilled to accompany my new pet parents on their athletic pursuits and outdoor adventures. With lots of energy and charisma, I absolutely love to play and get my exercise. My most favorite thing in the whole word is playing with toys. A big basket of toys would fill my days and nights with loads of fun! I get very excited when we first meet, but then show off my manners (a nice sit and gentle meeting) once I settle in. I would make a great walking partner too!

Type of home I'm looking for: I will do best as the only pet in an adult only home.

Other things you should know about me: My adoption fee includes my spay / neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, a gift from Hill's Science Diet, a license if residing in Oceanside or Vista, and limited veterinary medical coverage from VCA Hospitals up to $250!

During the adoption process a San Diego Humane Society Trainer will be present to answer any questions and share how to best care for me and tips for continued training in the future.

Moby is currently available for adoption at our San Diego Campus:

It's a growing problem throughout parts of the nation - teens turning to common plant seeds as a type of party drug to score a cheap but risky high.
