Girl nearly killed in head-on crash dances again

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A local high school senior who was nearly killed in a head-on crash last St. Patrick's Day weekend is finally getting back on stage.

Saturday, Taylor Cunningham danced for the first time since the accident in a show at Cathedral Catholic High School.

Last year, she suffered brain damage after a drunk driver heading the wrong way on the 52 hit her, her two sisters and their mother.

Taylor says she couldn't have come so far by herself.

"The girls are big supporters and they have been there for me through this whole thing, I really appreciate them," she said.

Taylor will be dancing again Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Cathedral Catholic High School.
