CAMP PENDLETON (CBS 8) - The troops at Camp Pendleton got a special visit from the Anaheim Ducks' power players, street team and mascot this week.
It was all part of the club's "Paint It Orange" campaign for the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs.
The Marines Amphibian School Battalion got in the hockey playoff spirit by taking part in a few friendly contests.
"We're having a little competition between the MAT Marines and Motor T. We actually beat them. Motor T won the competition running and the pushup competition so we're doing pretty good today," one Marine said.
The winner of the push-up competition got two tickets to see the Ducks take on the Dallas Stars Friday night in game five of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs at the Honda Center, which is tied at two games apiece.
