SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A masked gunman robbed a Subway sandwich shop in Kearny Mesa Sunday, police said.
The suspect was armed with a handgun when he entered the business at 7373 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. around 8:35 p.m. and demanded cash from an employee, San Diego police officials said.
He fled with an unknown amount of money, possibly in a Chevrolet Suburban-type SUV, police said.
The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds and was wearing a black and white sweater and a black bandana over his face, according to the SDPD.
