CAMPO (CNS) - Authorities Friday released the name of a 45-year-old Potrero man who was fatally injured when his 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a deer, killing the animal.
Stefan Kortney Lowe was fatally injured on state Route 94 west of state Route 188 in the southern Campo area around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol and the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
Another motorist came upon Lowe in the roadway, the M.E.'s Office reported. Both he and the deer were dead.
