SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A Marine reservist remains in a Mexican jail as protesters are hoping the U.S. government will get him out.

Demonstrators took advantage of President Obama's visit to call on him to help free Andrew Tahmooressi.

He's been held in a Tijuana prison since early April after his family says he made a wrong turn and crossed the border with guns in his truck.

Thursday, supporters lined the streets as President Obama's motorcade drove by. They are hoping the president will intervene.
