Crime Stoppers honors law enforcement agents

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Crime Stoppers held its annual Enough is Enough luncheon and awards ceremony Thursday.

CBS News 8's Carlo Cecchetto emceed the event that honors outstanding law enforcement professionals.

"We honor state, federal and local law enforcement agents who have done something extraordinary over the last year. Each agency chooses one law enforcement agent to receive an award and we honor them," Crime Stoppers Board of Directors President John Cooley said.

Crime Stoppers is now in its 30th year of taking tips regarding crime and rewarding the tipster if a felony arrest is made.

More than a dozen men and women from agencies throughout San Diego County were honored.
