Coyote pups burned in Poinsettia Fire recovering

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Two coyote pups burned in the Poinsettia Fire are on the road to recovery.

We got to see new photos Thursday of the pups, which are now being cared for by the Fund for Animals Wildlife Center in Ramona. The female was found suffering from burns and blisters. Her brother came in with similar injuries.

The two are being housed separately to keep them from removing each other's foot wraps, but they are side by side so they can see and hear each other.
