Surveillance camera catches arson suspects

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Arson investigators are searching for two people wanted for starting a fire at the Ritual Tavern in North Park.

On May 19, surveillance cameras caught two people carrying a rag and gas can climbing over the fence in back of the restaurant. They tried to get inside the building, but couldn't get past bars on the windows.

Investigators believe the same two people came back on May 22, breaking into the restaurant through the back door. They're seen on camera pouring gas throughout the restaurant, then lighting it on fire.

Anyone with information on the arsonists can call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
