Tony Gwynn could handle a bat like few other major leaguers, whether it was driving the ball through the "5.5 hole" between third base and shortstop or hitting a home run off the facade in Yankee Stadium in the World Series.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Tuesday we continue to celebrate the life and legacy of Hall of Famer, Tony Gwynn.

Mr. Padre was a beloved fixture of San Diego and many fans are snapping up keepsakes from the slugger's incredible career.

Unfortunately, some people are trying to profit from Tony Gwynn's death. But we also found people selling items for reasonable prices. One guy offering to donate what he gets to Tony Gwynn's charity.

And there is definitely something out there for everyone.

He gave us so many great memories over the years and now that Tony Gwynn is gone, San Diegans are looking for special ways to remember number 19.

A quick search of EBay and we found countless baseball cards for sale. His rookie year, now selling for the highest amount around $25.

There are also autographed balls and bats, things you'd expect.

But with Tony - we could also always expect - the unexpected and the same seems to hold true for items on the internet honoring his memory.

There's a Wheaties box, a bobblehead from his days at San Diego State University. The price? Sellers asking anywhere from $30 to $300.

Trading pins, a signed jersey framed for a $1,000, an autographed copy of his book, "The Art of Hitting," and lots of autographed replica batting helmets.

And even if you're not a baseball fan but you love Tony and all he's meant to San Diego, there's always this -- the Tony Gwynn collectible bear on Craigslist for $40.
