PB residents on high alert after sexual assault

PACIFIC BEACH (CBS 8) – San Diego police are looking for man lurking in Pacific Beach suspected of touching a woman while she slept in her vacation rental.

The reported sexual assault happened on Felspar Street and Bayard Street around 2:15 a.m. on Friday. Sex Crimes detectives say a woman woke up to a man touching her. She told police she screamed and left.

The suspect is described as a light skinned Black or Hispanic male in his 20’s, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” with a muscular build, and short dark hair. He was wearing a white baseball style cap, short sleeve shirt and dark colored basketball type shorts.
