Three siblings hoping to find one forever family

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The three siblings you're about to meet see each other just once a week and while they cherish those short visits, their dream is to be able to live together again under one roof. Meet Alissa, Jonathan and Jason, who are hoping there's a forever family out there, willing to take in all three of them.

No arguing or sibling rivalry here and that’s because there's really no time for fighting, these children say because their time together is so limited. They all live in different foster homes, but wish they lived together.

Six-year-old Jason is in first grade, nine-year-old Jonathan is in third and 11-year-old Alissa is in sixth and is old enough to know the purpose of our playdate – to find a home for all three children.

And here's a little about themselves, they wanted to share, just in case their future forever family is watching. They say they are funny, hard workers and like to do their homework.

Social workers say Alissa, Jonathan and Jason are happy and well-adjusted. Still, it's a challenge finding them one forever family, simply because there are three of them.

“They're amazing. We just don't have a lot of families that are open to larger sibling groups. Especially siblings who are older and sibling groups of three or more,” explained Protective Services Worker Nicole Espinosa.

But Alissa, Jonathan and Jason remain hopeful that there's a family out there that will take them all in and help them soar to new heights.
