PB residents urged to lock up to stop intruders

Posted: Updated:

PACIFIC BEACH (CBS 8) - Police have a warning for residents of Pacific Beach -- it comes after a man living on the 1900 block of Missouri Street work up Sunday to find a stranger inside his home.

Less than two weeks ago, a woman in a home on Felspar woke up to a man touching her.

Police do not believe the incidents are related.

"I have cats to where our doors are open a little bit, our windows are open a little bit and that kind of worries me. I'm going to have to start locking everything down," said resident Gene Philipps.

The intruder is described as a man in his 40's, with a strong odor and carrying a duffel or sleeping bag. Anyone with information should call police.
