SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Police were on the lookout Thursday for the gunman who robbed a neighborhood market in Logan Heights.
The suspect displayed a black handgun in the waistband of his pants and demanded money from a cashier at the business at 2695 Imperial Ave. shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday, San Diego police Sgt. O'Donnell said.
The employee handed over an unknown amount and the robber left the business, O'Donnell said. He was last seen walking east on Imperial Avenue.
Police described the suspect as a thin Hispanic man in his 30s wearing a black shirt and black pants.
