SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) – The man accused of fatally shooting a woman in Lemon Grove wants a judge to reduce his bail.
Casey Tschida is being held on a $5 million bond. Prosecutors say he shot a female acquaintance as she walked home from a bar where the two had been drinking.
Tschida's mother and stepfather both say he admitted to the murder.
In Thursday's hearing, Tschida will ask a judge to lower his bail so he can await trial from home.
He could face the death penalty if convicted.
