Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 08, 2014

Pro Player Health Alliance publicly congratulates Dr. Harry Sugg in Dallas, Texas on becoming the fifteenth member of the NFLPA Dental Program for retired players directed by Dr. Gordon in Pennsylvania. Dr. Sugg, the only dentist in the program that treats TMD and sleep apnea, said, "I want to thank David Gergen, Pro Player Health Alliance, Andre Collins of the NFLPA and Dr. Gordon for giving me the opportunity to become a part of helping the players satisfy their dental needs. I can tell they have the players' health in their best interest."

Dr. Sugg, who once had the country's largest, single office dental practice, first began helping the former players in the DFW area in October of 2012 when he hosted his first NFL Players Health Evaluation event with Pro Player Health Alliance and Dr. Archie Roberts' Living Heart Foundation HOPE Program study where he evaluated 17 players at no cost. Mr. Gergen, President of Pro Player Health Alliance, calls Dr. Sugg "one of the most honest, caring guys in the country who has consistently shown he is willing to go the extra mile to make sure the retired players and their families are taken care of." He now has over 25 former NFL players as patients who trust him with their care including Tony Dorsett and Eric Dickerson; more than five of the 25 make the trip to his office from out of town for each appointment.

Pro Player Health Alliance began their "Tackling Sleep Apnea" campaign in 2010 having since treated hundreds of former NFL players and spread awareness to tens of thousands in the general public, partnering with only the highest quality dentists and physicians in the country.
