SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A man is seriously injured in a wild crash in San Ysidro.
Police say a 27-year-old woman was speeding on Camino de la Plaza around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when she lost control of the vehicle. The car slammed into a tree and hit a man standing nearby, before stopping just short of a bank.
The sedan struck the 27-year-old victim on the south sidewalk, which left him with two fractured legs, according to San Diego police.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs following the crash. Her name was not immediately available.
