SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A suspected drunken driver crashed into a parked pickup truck in Shelltown early Friday, causing his 70-year-old passenger to suffer a fractured femur, police said.
The 21-year-old man and his passenger were headed north in the 2000 block of 40th Street near Nordica Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. when he swerved to the left and struck the full-size pickup truck parked on the curb, San Diego police Sgt. O'Donnell said.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of felony drunken driving, O'Donnell said. His name was not immediately available.
