Act II: Cheaply chic

Posted: Updated:

LA MESA (CBS 8) - In La Mesa Village, they are the first family of re-purposed fashion.

"This is my mom, Delores Buller. She had the store for 32 years. This is my beautiful daughter, Jessica," Deanne Ross said.

They have redefined resale at Act II.

"We specialize in gently-worn clothing," Deanne said. "From sportswear to evening wear to new hats. We buy them at a really excellent price and offer that discount on to the customer."

And on the day before Opening Day at Del Mar, bargain hunters were searching for an apropos chapeau. Whether your look is sublime, or you're in your prime, you don't have to spend your last dime before post time.

"We can help you. We can put together outfits on you that really look excellent on you. We specialize in helping people put things together," Deanne said.

At Act II, these budget conscious outfits for fillies are headed postward for another curtain call and fashionable photo finish.
