ESCONDIDO (CNS) - A pregnant 18-year-old woman who went missing in Escondido has been found Sunday.
Andrea Nicole Bagalini, who is eight months pregnant, told Escondido police that she voluntarily left the Escondido area and did not want to tell her immediate family members where she was. Police said she assured them that she was unharmed.
Bagalini was reported missing on Friday night and had last been seen by her family around 3:30 p.m. Friday on the city's east end, Escondido police Lt. Eric Skaja said.
According to Bagalini's relatives, she set out to walk to a friend's apartment in the 1500 block of East Grand Avenue, but she failed to arrive, Skaja said.
She texted friends later in the day, but she did not provide her location and she had been unreachable via cell phone, according to the lieutenant.
