Clean-up after Comic-Con 2014

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - After more than four days full of comics, superheroes, movies and TV shows, Comic-Con 2014 is a wrap.

Crews started breaking down the displays at the convention center Sunday night, just minutes after the final panel ended.

They worked throughout the day Monday to remove all of the wiring, booths and stages. All of the work is expected to be finished by Monday night.

During Comic-Con, the convention center used more than 50,000 square feet of tents, over 20 miles of electrical cable and 6,000 feet of plastic chain for line control.
