SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A good Samaritan came to the rescue of the Spay Neuter Action Project after vandals spray-painted the Neuter Scooter.
We reported on Friday that the bus was vandalized in Lincoln Park, and one of our viewers sprang into action and cleaned it up for free.
"He saw it on the news on Friday night and he called us on Saturday morning, and we all met down here Saturday morning and he brought his secret weapon, which is called "goof-off" and the spray-paint just wiped right off," SNAP Director Dorell Sackett said.
Now that the paint is gone, SNAP plans to re-wrap the bus and feature local animals on it.
