SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Surfing and science collide again this year for the 21st annual Luau & Legends Surfing Invitational.
The fundraiser benefits cancer research. All the proceeds go to the University of California San Diego, Moores Cancer Center.
This year's event is Sunday, August 17 and it includes a surfing competition, luau, auction, live music and a tropical buffet.
