MISSION VALLEY (CBS 8) - Traffic is back to normal on Interstate 8 after a seven-car pile up in Mission Valley earlier Saturday.
The crashes were reported just before 1 p.m. It happened on the I-8 west near the intersection with the I-5, just west of Taylor Street.
Fire officials say several people were injured but everyone is expected to be okay.
The wreckage was cleared about an hour and a half later.
