SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Two days of fun in Coronado kicks off Friday and it's for an important cause. The event includes dinner at the Del and a cruise on a private yacht - all to benefit Sharp HospiceCare's Homes for Hospice Campaign.
The Sharp HospiceCare Annual Benefit Dinner and Regatta is hosted by Sharp HospiceCare. The benefit dinner will be held at the Hotel Del Coronado on Friday, August 22. Then, on Saturday, guests will head over to the Coronado Yacht club and board private yachts for a cruise in the bay to watch the regatta.
Proceeds from this event benefit Sharp HospiceCare's Homes for Hospice Campaign, which is an initiative to build residential hospice homes in San Diego County.
