ANCHORAGE, Alaska (CBS 8) - A man charged with the murder of Marine wife Erin Corwin has waived extradition from Alaska.

Christopher Lee, 24, can now be returned to California.

Lee was arrested in Anchorage on Sunday, the day after Corwin's body was found in a mine shaft near Twentynine Palms.

Corwin and Lee, a former Marine, were reportedly having an affair before she got pregnant and went missing in June.
