SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The Chargers are up in northern California -- and they felt the shaking Sunday morning.

The team was at its hotel in San Jose, about 100 miles south of the earthquake's epicenter.

"I'm not really sure what woke me up, but when I was awake, I could get a sense of the hotel we were in swaying with the earthquake," said public relations director Bill Johnston.

While they have experienced earthquakes before, Johnston said some of the players had trouble sleeping after the quake.

Despite some transportation delays, their preseason game against the 49ers went on as scheduled.
