SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A multiple-vehicle crash Tuesday on a freeway transition road in Mission Valley temporarily tied up traffic and left a person with minor injuries, authorities said.
The crash, which involved a bus and several other vehicles, was reported shortly before 5:30 a.m. on the transition from southbound Interstate 805 to Interstate 8, according to the California Highway Patrol and fire officials.
The wrecked vehicles were blocking the transition road's lanes and authorities issued a SigAlert, according to the California Highway Patrol. The roadway was later reopened, authorities said.
One person was hospitalized following the crash, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
