SAN DIEGO (AP) — The San Diego Chargers have cut 22 players to get down to the 53-man limit, including tight end Michael Flacco, a younger brother of Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco.
Other notable cuts were backup tackle Mike Harris, linebacker Thomas Keiser, third-string quarterback Brad Sorensen, rookie wide receiver Tevin Reese and wide receiver Vincent Brown.
If Brown clears waivers, the team will place him on injured reserve with a calf injury.
Flacco was an undrafted rookie from New Haven, a Division II school.
Reese was a seventh-round draft pick from Baylor.
