Grilling with Styles: Grilled Summer Berry Trifle

1 store bought Pound cake

1 cup Strawberries

1 cup Blueberries

1 cup Blackberries

1 cup Raspberries

16 ounces Vanilla yogurt

1 tablespoon minced Mint

1/2 cup Maple syrup

1/2 stick of Butter, melted


Wash and drain fruit, slice strawberries and in a bowl toss with Maple syrup. Cover and set aside for a half an hour to let flavors blend. While that's happening slice pound cake into 1 inch pieces, brush with melted butter and grill on both sides on cleaned grill over a medium high heat. It goes quick so pay attention. Combine the yogurt and mint and cut your grilled pound cake into bite size squares, assemble in layers in a clear glass to show off the contrast in color and top with a drizzle of sauce.
