For todays lesson Claude focuses on the strumming for this easy song that consists of the following three chords; G, 3rd fret of the 6th string with 2nd finger, 2nd fret of the 5th string with first finger, open 4th and 3rd strings, 3rd fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger and 3rd fret of the first string with 4th finger. D, open fourth string, 2nd fret of the 3rd string with first finger, 3rd fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger and 2nd fret of the first string with 2nd finger. And C, 3rd fret of the 5th string with 3rd finger, 2nd fret of the 4th string with 2nd finger, open 3rd string, first fret of the 2nd string with first finger and open first string. Claude explains the counting of the strum as follows; on G, 1-2-&, on D, 3-4-&, and for the C it is the same as the G. Some people do better by just learning the strumming by ear rather than counting it," says Johnson. Guitar TABs are available for this easy beginner guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
