SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Five people are under arrest after law enforcement officials say they crossed the border illegally with more than 200 pounds of marijuana.
Border Patrol agents say they caught the smugglers near the Imperial Sand Dunes after they climbed the fence. Agents say during questioning, one of the group claimed they were supposed to deliver the drugs to a car parked nearby.
The driver of that car, a U.S. citizen, was also taken into custody for questioning.
The drugs have an estimated street value of more than $125,000.
