SAN DIEGO (CNS/CBS 8) - Police are searching for another attacker after a man arrested in a series of sex assaults in North Park was cleared of one of the seven cases.

David Angelo Drake II, 23, of San Diego was taken into custody Monday evening and pleaded not guilty Thursday to 18 felony charges in connection with the series of attacks on women in neighborhoods near Balboa Park.

Since Drake's arrest, detectives have eliminated him as a suspect in the second of the seven assaults, which occurred June 17 on Meade Avenue, near 33rd Street, according to police. Investigators are still seeking tips about that case, Sgt. Shawn Takeuchi said.

A composite sketch of the second suspect was released.

Anyone with information about the assault can call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
