Luncheon raises money for cerebral palsy

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Hundreds of people came together for a luncheon in San Diego Friday to raise money to support people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

The 31st annual Firefighters and Friends Celebrity Waiters Luncheon was held Friday outside the Coronado Island Marriot Resort and Spa.

As a celebrity waiter CBS News 8's Carlo Cecchetto had the honor of serving food and drinks alongside celebrity impersonators like Bono and Austin Powers.

Last year, this event raised more than $60,000.
