When Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy was handing out game balls in Buffalo after Sunday's impressive 22-10 over the Bills, he should have kept the first one for himself and his coaching staff. The second one should have gone to General Manger Tom Telesco. I was so impressed by the game plan that McCoy and his coaches blue-printed for Sunday, much like they did in a week two romp over the Super Bowl Champs. And while most of us raised an eyebrow when Telesco inked former Colt RB Donald Brown in the off-season, we realized how brilliant that move was when Sunday Danny Woodhead joined Ryan Mathews on the injured list.

Every NFL team has its weakness and for the Bills, it's QB E.J. Manuel. Chargers Defensive Coordinator John Pagano exploited Manuel Sunday and the 2nd year signal caller crumbled. Credit the defense for executing the game plan to perfection and credit Eric Weddle for a hit on Marquise Goodwin that registered on California's Richter Scale.

In a week one loss in Arizona, the Bolts allowed 12 4th quarter points and got barbecued in the media. Since then, they've allowed zero points in the 4th quarter in back to back games, securing victories in both.

There were many deserving of game balls for yet another east coast victory by our Chargers; Philip Rivers, Eddie Royal, Donald Brown, Brandon Flowers, Corey Liuget. But it's the game plan the Bolts executed that again helped them control the ball and keep the Bills off-balance. I can't wait to see what Coach McCoy cooks up for Jacksonville this coming weekend.
