SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Authorities released the name Tuesday of a 41-year-old man found mortally injured under suspicious circumstances last weekend behind a Bay Ho-area home.
Paul Michael Martinez of San Diego was visiting the residents of the house in the 4700 block of Monongahela Street when he was discovered unresponsive in the back yard about 10 a.m. Sunday, according to San Diego police.
Martinez, who appeared to have suffered blunt-force trauma to his chest, died at the scene, Lt. Mike Hastings said.
A ruling on whether the death was accidental or a homicide was on hold pending completion of post-mortem exams.
