SAN DIEGO (CNS) - San Diego State police were on the lookout Wednesday for two men who manhandled a student while robbing him of his backpack in a university parking structure.

One of the robbers grabbed the student by his neck and the other struck him as they took his backpack around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to university police, who said it happened on the top level of a parking structure in the 5300 block of College Avenue.

"The student was slightly injured," police said in a statement.

The robbers fled in an older model red sedan driven by a third person, police said, adding that the car may have an out-of-state license plate of HKG780.

Police described both robbers as black and in their 20s. One is about 6 feet 2 and 180 pounds, and other is around 5 feet 6 and 150 pounds, police said, adding the taller man was seen with a beard.
