SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Local leaders and community members gathered in Bonita Monday to re-dedicate a sign welcoming people to the city.
The sign is in the 3800 block of Bonita Road on property donated by Glen Abbey Mortuary. It was paid for with money from the county's neighborhood re-investment fund, along with donations from several community groups.
The original sign was destroyed when a large eucalyptus tree fell on it.
