SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The City Council paid tribute to our Larry Himmel by adjourning Tuesday's meeting in his memory.
"I knew him to be a man with a beautiful heart and an infectious sense of humor. He was the consummate professional and a true joy to know, and Larry you will be missed," Council member Marti Emerald said.
District 5 Councilman Mark Kersey also remembered Larry as a man who always found time to give back to the Rancho Bernardo community where he lived.
Larry was also praised for helping bring the community together after the Witch Creek Fire burned his home and dozens of others In 2007.
