    The ex-business partner of a Fallbrook man who mysteriously disappeared with his wife and two young sons has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the entire family, authorities announced Friday.
     
    The ex-business partner of a Fallbrook man who mysteriously disappeared with his wife and two young sons has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the entire family, authorities announced Friday.Charles Ray Merritt was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Chatsworth in connection with the deaths of the McStay family. 

(CBS 8) – A change of venue has been granted in a brutal local murder case.

The trial against Charles "Chase" Merritt is moving from Victorville to San Bernardino. Merritt is charged with four counts of murder in the deaths of Joseph and Summer McStay and their two children.

The next trial date is set for January 30.
