SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Military personnel traveling through San Diego Thursday were treated to a thanksgiving dinner courtesy of the USO.
The organization served about 100 members of the military in its meeting room at Lindbergh Field.
The food was provided by the Manchester Grand Hyatt and featured all of the traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with salmon and beef.
Organizers say the meal is a chance for military members to get a little taste of home, even if they can't be with their families.
The USO also served Thanksgiving dinner at its downtown center.
