SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A San Diego woman discovered that she won $750,000 on a scratch-off game while getting her hair done, the California Lottery announced Wednesday.

Dawn Kinder, 49, purchased some $10 "Crossword Ca$h" tickets Monday at a 7-Eleven at 7733 Palm Ave. in Lemon Grove while on the way to her stylist, lottery officials said.

"I just said to my beautician that I won $750,000," Kinder said. "She was like, 'You're lying.' I said, 'No I'm not!' So we counted the words (on the game) and she was like, 'I can't believe you're sitting here all calm like that!"'

The Crossword Ca$h game has players scratch off 20 letters, a bonus word, a multiplier and a space where $75 can be won instantly.

Kinder told lottery officials that she plans to pay off her debts and make a down-payment on a house.
