SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near Bay Park Tuesday sent three people to hospitals and left three southbound lanes temporarily blocked.
The collision near the SeaWorld Drive off-ramp was reported around 12:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol reported. An occupant of a Ford Mustang was trapped inside the car, and other motorists stopped to pull the person out.
Three people were taken to hospitals to be treated for injuries of undisclosed severity, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Vehicles briefly blocked three southbound lanes and the CHP issued a SigAlert for the area, but the roadway was cleared around 1:10 p.m.
