$5,000 reward in poodle abuse case

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for abusing a poodle.

The dog was found wandering Logan Heights last week with rubber bands wrapped so tightly around her muzzle that they cut into the bone. She will need reconstructive surgery.

The reward is being offered by San Diego Animal Advocates.

Anyone with information is asked to call San Diego County Animal Services or San Diego Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
