Aztec senior happy to be back on the court

Posted: Updated:

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - It was a scary scene back in December: Dwayne Polee collapsing on the court at Viejas Arena. The problem, his heart.

This weekend, however, there was a huge sigh of relief as Polee checked into the game in the first half against San Jose State Saturday night, his first action in 61 days.

He played 13 minutes, had 3 points and a steal. More importantly, he looked great, showing no signs of any lingering health problems.

The fifth-year senior's presence on the court provided his team with a huge emotional lift.

On Monday, Polee talked about coming back. He says doctors told him there is nothing to worry about.
