Pedestrian fatally struck by van

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - An elderly man was fatally struck by a van in Bay Park Tuesday morning, police said.

The man was struck in the 3800 block of Morena Boulevard shortly before 1:30 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The driver, a man in his 60s, remained at the scene, he said in a statement.
