SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - An elderly woman's license was suspended after she was caught driving the wrong way on the 805.
CHP stopped the 73-year-old going north in the southbound carpool lane near La Jolla Village Drive just before 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Officers followed her with lights and sirens for about 10 miles before she stopped. Authorities say she will have to take a DMV test to get her license back.
Her car was towed and she was given a ride home to Solana Beach.
No one was injured.
