Veteran Border Patrol supervisor arrested

SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A U.S. Border Patrol supervisor was arrested on Friday for allegedly placing a camera in a women's restroom at an agency facility in the South Bay, the FBI announced.

Armando Gonzalez was arrested peacefully at his home around 3:30 p.m. and will spend the weekend in federal custody, according to FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth.

Documents in the case have been sealed, so the charges against Gonzalez cannot be revealed pending a Monday court appearance, Foxworth said.

Gonzalez was taken into custody with the help of Department of Homeland Security inspectors and the San Diego Police Department, according to Foxworth.
